Dating - Handling the fear HomeThis is a featured page

That shirt that shouts out No Fear could be the sole worthwhile apparel in the civilizations' of the mankind.

Fear would confuse you; it can discourage you from looking for a new house, looking for your spouse, checking upon your reflection. It can hold you away from questioning what you fancy, figuring what's your priority, saying "ouch" or "hurrah." Fear chips away at your confidence, your conviction, your will power, and it doesn't deserve to exist in your life. Starting to pay attention? Maybe.

Fear is an marvellous and courageous energy that scary elements should not have a place within us, go on, power the lights and look into the mirror. Never let fear have the power to control you. Take control of your fear.

The things that you already screwed into your mind is fine and excellent and perhaps to the extent of being helpful, but if you run your entire life span with the existing store of knowledge, you ruin your chances on a number of of future fun. You're marketing in a neighborhood store when a grand shopping center awaits you. To paraphrase Auntie Mame, "Life is a banquet, and most poor dummies are feeding on crumbs."

I'm talking about driving out and going bravely where you haven't been before: a land where you rule by smiling, socializing, having fun, meeting strangers, meeting fresh challenges, finding lean muscles and a sense of purpose in life. Okay, okay, I can anticipate you now: "Blastoff is scary. What if I get blown up on the launch platform or end up where there's no water?" Grab your opportunity. Shake off your fear, and tune to your curiosity and steel within. Think back about other new situations you've encountered: your first day of school, the time you fed yourself a coconut, your first overseas trip, the event you let your father convince you into riding the giant chute-the-chute, and the list goes on. Obviously, not all fresh experiences are fun, but imagine what you miss when you let your fear of the unfamiliar territory keep you from experimenting.

Even Captain Kirk, Lance Armstrong, every space man, and every cool dude and manly stud has his or her fear. The conviction defines what confidence is made of. In the long term, appearing like you are on top of what you're doing is almost as significant as actually being in control. At least close.
